This is one of my good friends that I met last year. She’d never seen the ocean before (life in Canada near Quebec) and this was taken a few moments after we arrived in Ise and she saw the shoreline. 

I don’t know, it’s strange and sad to know I’ll never feel the way she did at this moment. I’ll never see the ocean and be stopped in my tracks at how grand and beautiful it is. I’ll never appreciate it the way it was appreciated in this very second.
