High school girls giggling and attempting to work out in front of their subjectively attractive coach uh
I really enjoyed photographing this. There’s a sort of special nostalgia when hanging around high school aged girls; a transportation back to a time when you didn’t know the hormone roller coaster was to blame for how giddy and silly life felt. The Columbia Speed Academy pretty much does what their title suggests. Speed babeh, speed. During my time there, I watched girls run through cones, hop around, and swing excruciatingly heavy ropes, all to run a few seconds faster. I was inspired, really; this stuff was tough work. But I went home and ate a two monster bowls of Honey Nut Cheerios after, so it’s difficult to say that I was inspired enough to change my daily routine.
