Girls
I've been thinking a lot lately about how I perceive women, and how they're perceived based upon their female identity and gender performance. I wanted to take portraits of women who have chosen a very specific way to represent themselves visually--and this visual representation affects how they go about their life, in some cases overtaking their life completely. These are the book spreads I designed for my final assignment for Capstone Picture Story at Mizzou, and I'll be working on it more throughout next semester.
A huge serious thanks to all of the kick-ass amazing women that let me photograph them.
