The Portland Lullaby Project was created so that mothers could connect with their unborn children, and creatively process the stressors associated with being pregnant. Four expectant mothers in Portland were selected to write lullabies to their children, and those lullabies were performed by the Portland Symphony Orchestra. Danielle Tardy wrote the song "Third Time's a Charm," and I had a great time getting to know Danielle while photographing her with her son Brandin - she was just one of those people I instantly connected with.
